This is my personal web site for the random insanity that passes as my thoughts. I have had at this web address for over eight years now, and there has been actual content on it for only about five or six of those years.
If you came here from one of my business cards, you've probably wondered what the I.C.E INC on the top of the card was for, so let me alleviate your troubled mind. I.C.E INC was the name of a fictional business my good friend Eric and myself wanted to create back during High School where we would make web sites for profit. As most of Eric's ideas, this involved me doing all of the work as he knew nothing about making web sites, and still does not. The name was a pun off of our nicknames at the time, Ice and E, so I.C.E for both of our nicknames, or "Icy-E."
When I wanted my own domain back in 2003, I wanted something defining exactly what this site was, mine. As such, I chose Ice Domain (territory over which rule/control is exercised) because it was something for myself and my friends really, or those that followed my previous site tests and sources. Now it is still for friends as well as myself, but also for the random seekers that find it. As such, I.C.E INC became this site's purpose: to explain what I can to those that seek/ask (I Can Explain), and to share my technical knowledge (Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering Fundamentals). When I was working as an independent contractor in 2007, I also filed with the federal government until I.C.E INC as my 'business' name and actually used the site as the testing grounds for a couple of contracted sites. I.C.E INC is this site, my purpose and my insane thoughts.
